  This requirements must be met in order to process your visa  

    BUSINESS VISIT VISA:  

 
1
 A white visa application form, a valid passport valid not less than 6    
    months and attach with two photographs, which must be 4 cm x 6 cm    
    and of white background. Face of applicant must cover at least 70 to    
    80% of the space.    
         
 
2
 An application from the sponsor in the Kingdom on the applicant’s    
    behalf to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or an original letter of    
    invitation from the company in Saudi Arabia. This letter must be    
    signed and sealed by the company and stamped by the Saudi    
    Chamber of Commerce. For businesswomen, the invitation must    
    come from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs or letter of invitation    
    and must accompanied by her husband.

 An original covering letter from a registered company or firm based    
    in Singapore, indicating the name of the Saudi Arabian company, the    
    nature of the applicant’s visit, length of stay and financial    
    responsibility. The letter must bear the company’s stamp and seal.

 Visa Issuing Fees:

 S$100.00 for Single Entry

 S$200.00 for US passport holder (for Single & Multiple Entry)

 For non-Singaporean citizens, a photocopy of a valid    
    residence or employment pass (Blue I/D or Green Card).    


    EMPLOYMENT VISA:  

 
1
 A white visa application form, a valid passport valid not less than 6    
    months and attach with two photographs, which must be 4 cm x 6 cm    
    and of white background. Face of applicant must cover at least 70 to    
    80% of the space.

 A certified and notarized copy of the university degree/diploma    
    validated by the Saudi Arabian Embassy. A certified and notarized    
    copy of the training or technical diploma must be validated by the    
    Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Diplomas should be notarized    
    by our Consulate for a fee of S$15.00 per document.

 A copy of the signed contract.

 An original letter from the company in Saudi Arabia sponsoring the    
    applicant certified by the Saudi Chamber of Commerce. It MUST    
    indicate the block visa number and date.

 If the applicant has previously worked in the Kingdom of Saudi    
    Arabia a release letter is required.

 Medical report as per our specimen.

 Age of employment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia must be over 22    
    years.

    RESIDENCE VISA:

 An application from the sponsor in the Kingdom apply on the    
    applicant’s behalf to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. An authorization    
    number should be issued for the applicant in order to get the visa,    
    and our Embassy should be provided officially with that number.

 Proof of relationship to the sponsor (a copy of the marriage    
    certificate for the wife, a copy of the birth certificate for the    
    child).

 Visa Issuing Fees is S$25.00    


    FAMILY VISIT VISA:  

  The sponsor in Saudi Arabia must apply for the invitation through the    
  Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Once the request is granted, the Ministry of    
  Foreign Affairs will send the invitation and authorization directly to the Saudi    
  Embassy in Singapore.

    80% of the space.

 A confirmed ticket reserved in and out of Saudi Arabia for at most 48    
    hours.

 A valid visa for the next destination.

 Visa Issuing Fees is S$25.00    



    EXTENSION OF EXIT RE-ENTRY VISA:  

 
1
 A white visa application form, a valid passport not less than 6    
    months and a valid residence in the Kingdom.

 For dependants, the applicant should not be out of the Kingdom for    
    more than fourteen (14) months.

 Visa Issuing Fees is GRATIS.
    
         
 
4
 A letter from the Saudi company signed by the employer and    
    certified by the Saudi Chamber of Commerce.    
         
 
5
 A signed letter by the applicant stating the date and last port of exit    
    from Saudi Arabia.
    
         
 
6
 In case of work residence, the applicant should not be out of the    
    Kingdom for more than (6) months.
    
         
 
7
 In case of a student’s residence, the applicant should submit a school    
    attestation.    


    DIPLOMATIC AND OFFICIAL VISA:

 Flight information must be furnished in detail, in particular the last    
    flight entering Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.    
         


    HAJ AND UMRAH VISA:

 Hajj and Umrah requirements will be issued separately every
   
    year before the beginning of each corresponding Hajj and    
    Umrah season.    


   
  TRAVEL TIPS


Here are the things a traveller needs to know before travelling to Saudi Arabia.


TRANSPORT

Cars can be rented in most towns in Saudi Arabia. Residents of the Kingdom should hold a valid Saudi driver's licence. Visitors should have either a current driver's licence from their home country or an International licence.

Right-hand driving, as in the USA, is the rule. Air
As long distances separate the main towns of the country, air travel is often the most convenient and practical way to travel within the Kingdom. 		 

 
  The national airline, Saudia, operates a comprehensive network of domestic flights. The flight from Riyadh to Jeddah is just over an hour, while it takes just under an hour to fly from Riyadh to Dhahran on the east coast. There are 24 domestic airports in the Kingdom and charter flights are available for transportation to some of the more remote desert sites.  

  INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS

Saudi Arabia has three international airports, namely, King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah, and King Fahad International Airport in Dhahran. Besides serving Saudia, these airports also serve a large number of international airlines.

TRANSFER FROM AIRPORT

There is a limousine service to the traveller's destination at all main airports. There is also a regular SAPTCO (Saudi Arabian Public Transport Company) bus service from the airports to various hotels and to the centre of town.

BUSES
..........................................................................................



SAPTCO operates bus services to most towns and between the larger cities. The buses are comfortable and the fares are reasonable, generally lower than in the US or Europe. Each bus has a special section for women and children.

RAIL

A train service with first-class air-conditioned carriages runs daily between Riyadh and Dammam on the east coast.
